Pickle recipe
Use quart jars
20 black peppercorns
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
four cloves garlic sliced
Four sprigs fresh dill
1 tablespoon canning salt(1/2 May be better)
3 tablespoons white vinegar
Add cucumbers. Fill to the top with water. Shake the jar and invert it on the counter overnight. Shake it again in the morning and turn it right side up. Repeat one more time and then refrigerate after 48 -72 hours at room temp. I like to see bubbles from fermentation before refrigerating.
