4 cups pinto beans
8 cups of water
2 tablespoons of beef or chicken bullion (vegetarian option I sprinkle of white pepper a dash of garlic powder and a sprinkle of celery salt ) seasoning
1 teaspoon pepper
Two bay leaves
one garlic clove cut up
1/2 onion cut up
Some Thyme
After cooking
Drained can of crushed tomatoes
Cook for 60 minutes
Salt to taste (smoked sea salt)
Then serve or refried
